Seller Terms

These terms apply when you sell on Monezzi with a sales page. They explain how payments, fees and payouts work, what you are responsible for, and what you cannot sell.

Version: 2026-11-v1 · Last updated: 2026-11-07

1. About these terms

These Seller Terms apply to everyone who sells through Monezzi, with a personal account or with a company. They add to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If they conflict, these Seller Terms apply to your sales.

You accept these terms before your first sales page goes live. When we publish a new version, we ask you to accept it again before you save your next sales page.

2. How selling on Monezzi works

You create a sales page on a short link, set the product and the price, and share the link. Buyers pay by card on the page, and Monezzi delivers the product link or your thank-you message right after payment.

Monezzi is the merchant of record for these sales. The buyer pays Monezzi, Monezzi issues the receipt, and card processing runs on our Stripe account. The amount of each sale, minus refunds and chargebacks, is added to your seller balance.

You stay the creator and the provider of what you sell. Buyers contact you about the product itself, and you answer them.

3. Fees

Opening an account and publishing sales pages is free. There is no monthly fee.

Monezzi keeps a commission of 10% of the amount you withdraw. The commission is taken when you request a payout, not at the time of each sale, and it covers card processing on the sale.

Your current commission rate is shown next to your balance in your account. The rate that applies to a payout is the rate in effect when you request it. If we change your rate, the new rate applies to earnings you have not withdrawn yet.

4. Payouts

Payouts are made on request. You can request one when your balance is at least $100. We send the amount minus the commission to the account you choose: a Wise account or a bank account.

Payouts are reviewed and sent by our team. We may ask for more information, or hold a payout while we check a sale, a refund request or a dispute. If we cannot send a payout, we tell you why and the amount returns to your balance.

If refunds or chargebacks make your balance negative, payouts stop until new sales cover the difference. You agree to repay a negative balance that new sales do not cover.

Make sure your payment details are correct. Money sent to details you provided cannot always be recovered.

5. Your responsibilities

As a seller, you agree to:

  • Describe your product honestly, with its real price, what the buyer gets and when.
  • Deliver what you promised, and keep your download or access links working.
  • Own the rights to everything you sell and show, or have permission to use it.
  • Answer buyer questions and complaints about your product within a reasonable time.
  • Follow the laws that apply to you, your product and your buyers, including consumer protection and advertising rules.
  • Keep your account details, contact email and payment details up to date.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

You set the refund policy for your products: no refunds, or refunds within 30 days. The law in the buyer's country may give buyers more rights. Refunds are made by Monezzi through its payment account, and the refunded amount is taken from your balance.

If a buyer disputes a payment with their bank and it becomes a chargeback, the disputed amount is taken from your balance while the chargeback is open (waiting for a response or under review), together with the dispute fee that Stripe charges. If the chargeback is decided in our favor, the amount returns to your balance, and so does the fee if Stripe gives it back. If it is lost, the amount stays off your balance. A bank inquiry that has not become a chargeback does not change your balance.

Help us answer disputes: send proof of delivery or of the service when we ask for it. A high number of refunds or disputes is a reason to close selling on your account.

7. Prohibited products and businesses

Our payment and banking partners do not allow the following, so you cannot sell them on Monezzi:

  • Illegal goods and activities: drugs and drug equipment, fake IDs or credentials, content that promotes violence, and sales to sanctioned countries or persons.
  • Adult content and services: pornography, adult live chat, escort services and adult entertainment.
  • Gambling: games of chance, paid contests and sweepstakes, betting, prediction games and lotteries.
  • Financial services: debt relief or collection, credit repair, money transfer and currency exchange, crypto exchanges, mining, staking or token sales, funded trading accounts, investment or brokerage services, and fundraising for a business.
  • Deceptive offers: pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, get-rich-quick programs, promises of high returns, fake reviews or claims, trials with hidden prices, selling followers or engagement, and resale of products without added value.
  • Intellectual property: music, films, software or content you have no license to sell, and counterfeit goods.
  • Health: prescription drugs, supplements with harmful or unproven claims, and telehealth services.
  • Cannabis: cannabis and CBD products, THC, and courses on growing cannabis.
  • Weapons: firearms, ammunition, explosives and other dangerous materials.
  • Other: bail bonds, law firm client funds, identity theft protection, services that imitate a government agency, gift cards, virtual currency or in-game money, and secondary sales of NFTs.
  • Sellers who live in a country where our payment and banking partners do not operate.

Digital products, courses, coaching, e-books, templates and services are welcome. Offers that promise easy money or investment returns are not.

This list may grow when our partners change their rules. If you are not sure about a product, ask us before you sell it.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for reporting your earnings and paying the income taxes that apply to you in the country where you live.

If you are a US person, you give us a completed Form W-9 before your first payout, and we may report your payouts to the IRS. Sellers outside the US may be asked for the tax information that the law requires.

9. Suspension and closing

We may remove a sales page, close selling on your account or hold payouts if you break these terms, sell a prohibited product, mislead buyers, have too many refunds or disputes, or if we suspect fraud. Where we can, we tell you the reason.

You can stop selling at any time by pausing or deleting your sales pages. After a review period for refunds and disputes, we pay out your remaining balance minus the commission and any amounts you owe, unless the law or a payment partner requires us to hold it. The payout minimum applies to this payout too.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each update gets a new version number at the top of this page, and we ask you to accept the new version before you save your next sales page.
